The Town of Hardwick is seeking qualified individuals for the full-time position of Town Accountant. The Town Accountant is responsible for ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations and town bylaws relative to municipal finance. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive financial records and generating required periodic and monthly reports. A degree in accounting/finance and a minimum of three years’ experience in municipal accounting with an emphasis on automated financial systems and windows-based software applications including VADAR software is required.
