2008 Town Election Calendar

Annual Town Election: Monday, April 14, 2008
Annual Town Meeting: Saturday, May, 10, 2008

Nomination papers for elected offices are available from the Town Clerk for the 2008 Election of Officers beginning January 2, 2008 during regular office hours.

Last day to obtain and submit nomination papers to the Board of Registrars for certification is Tuesday, February 25, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.

Last day to file nomination papers with the Town Clerk is Monday, March 10, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.

Last day to withdraw nomination papers is Wednesday, March 12, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.

Last day to register to vote in the Annual Town Election is Tuesday, March 25, 2008 by 8:00 p.m.

VOTER REGISTRATION SESSION
Municipal Building-Gilbertville: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is the last day and hour to register voters who wish to vote at the Annual Town Election. Mail in voter registrations will be accpeted postmarked no later than the March 25, 2008 deadline.

FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Financial Statements must be filed by ALL CANDIDATES for election by the following dates, even if the candidate has no financial activity to report:

• Monday, April 7, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 14, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.
