Early In-Person Voting Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2022 created permanent early voting and vote by mail options for voters. It also standardizes voter registrations for elections and town meetings to ten days prior to said meetings/elections. Voter registration sessions will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022; and Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. respectively. Deadline for a Vote By Mail application to be received is Monday, August 29, 2022 at 5 p.m. Deadline to apply for in-person Absentee Voting is Friday, September 2, 2022 at 5 p.m. and an appointment MUST be made with the Town Clerk prior to the deadline, the office is closed that day. State Primary early in-person voting: Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Click here for the State Primary Warrant Early voting location is at the Myron E. The Board of Selectmen in their role as Water Commissioners will be meeting on September 12, 2022, at 6 pm at the Town House, 40 Common Street, Hardwick, MA 01037. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss water technology upgrade that will include new remote reader water meters for customers and potential water rate increases. This will be an open meeting of the Board of Selectmen and you are welcome and encouraged to attend.
